Regional and National Capacity Building Programs

The DeVos Institute’s Capacity Building Intensives provide in-depth training and consultation to arts organizations in a city, region, or nation. Combining in-person group seminars, online master classes, and onsite consultation, the Institute’s approach blends universal best practices and rigorous localization.

Capacity Building: Central Florida

The DeVos Family Foundation, in partnership with the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the University of Maryland, is pleased to announce Capacity Building: Central Florida, a two-year technical assistance and strategic planning intensive for up to 20 non-profit arts and cultural organizations throughout Central Florida in Orange, Lake, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

Board Development Intensives

The DeVos Institute has designed its Board Development Intensives for staff and board members to help put joy, vision, and sustainability back at the center of the conversation. These Intensives provide board members and senior executives with practical guidance on such crucial topics as fundraising, board development, hiring an executive director, and financial planning.
